I am currently providing Online/Web Therapy to interested clients in the State of California or in other countries. Please contact me to find out if I am available to provide Online Therapy to your country of residence.
Is Online Therapy right for me?
Online therapy can be very useful for clients who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety or depression and who would prefer to seek counseling from the comfort of their own home. This provides a more accessible form of treatment, in which you do not have to worry about commuting, parking, or waiting rooms. Online therapy is useful for those who are comfortable with using internet services, such as email and web cams. My approach to online therapy is similar to that of traditional therapy. The sessions are 50 minutes in length and consent forms/relevant paperwork will be completed prior to the commencement of treatment.
What do I need in order to participate in Online/Web Therapy?
In order to make the best use of Online Therapy, you will need a web camera, a microphone and speakers (or headset), and a fast internet connection.
Additional services provided:
Conducted in the same way as online/face-to face sessions. Phone sessions are also 50 minutes in length and will only be available to already established clients.
What about confidentiality?
Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me and my practice, so all of our sessions are conducted in a private therapy room. I am the only person in the room at all times. Ensuring that our online communications are secure is also greatly important. During the initial assessment we will discuss options for secure online communications.
